Amber started martial arts at the age of 6 with Kempo. Upon moving to Florida at age 9, she began Tae Kwon Do and obtained the rank of 3rd degree black belt. Looking for more realistic training, she began Krav Maga, BJJ, and Kickboxing at the age of 14 and trained throughout high school. During that time, she obtained the rank of Green Belt in Krav Maga and Blue Belt in BJJ from Rob Kahn (Royce Gracie’s first black belt). Amber attended Appalachian State University and graduated with a BSBA in Accounting and Economics. She moved to Charlotte, NC after graduating and is currently the Program Director of FTF® Gastonia. Amber Recently earned her Fit To Fight® Krav Maga Black Belt and is a certified From The Ground Up and SPARology Instructor, as well as a BJJ Purple belt under Jeremy Arel.
